Welcome to the G.L.B.L. website.  We are a Gay and Lesbian mixed bowling league, that bowls Saturday nights at 6:30 at Colonial Lanes, located at 400 N. Primrose Ave.  Our SUMMER 2012 League will begin on Saturday, June 9, 2012, with a League formation meeting at 6 PM, and bowling at 6:30 PM. The league fee is $15.00 per night and a $20.00 yearly fee to the United States Bowling Congress.  For more information on joining our Fall and Summer leagues e-mail the Secretary, Don Smith, at Donnie1962@aol.com

The Gay and Lesbian Bowling League (GLBL) is sanctioned by the International Gay Bowling Organization (IGBO)1 and the US Bowling Congress (USBC)2.
1The International Gay Bowling Organization (IGBO) officially launched Aug. 29, 1980, as the organization to serve amateur and professional gay bowlers in the United States. IGBO currently represents over 170 leagues and 60 tournaments worldwide, promoting its values of unity, fellowship, and communications through the sport of bowling.  IGBO is the national governing body for gay bowling as recognized by the Federation of Gay Games (formally Gay Olympics).

2 The United States Bowling Congress (USBC) officially launched Jan. 1, 2005, as the organization to serve amateur adult and youth bowlers in the United States. It resulted from the merger of the American Bowling Congress, Women's International Bowling Congress, Young American Bowling Alliance and USA Bowling. Today, USBC serves more than three million members.
USBC is the national governing body for bowling as recognized by the United States Olympic Committee.
USBC will stand for values that include: credibility, dedication, excellence, heritage, inclusiveness, integrity, philanthropy and sportsmanship.
